Bransholme Allotments
In November 2004 work began on the Champion's Allotment project which aimed to regenerate an old allotment site that had been berely used, into an area suitable to grow plants, fruits and vegetables.
In 2007 we were awarded a Big Lottery Grant through Reaching Communities which was when the real work could begin. Since then we have successfully maintained and managed the allotment site and currently have 49 plots which are all being used by plot holders from the Bransholme community. The allotement site is also fully equiped with poly tunnel, classroom and composting toilet with disable access.
BELTER
Our BELTER (Bransholme Ecological Learning, Training & Education Resource Centre) project is based on our allotment site. This is where we provide all of our training programmes including our Employment Skills, Vocational Routeway and our Learning Through the Land programmes.
We now deliver Open College Network (OCN) courses in basic horticulture. Alongside this, we also provide 1-2-1 support, advice and guidance services to those who want to return to work. We can help you write professional CVs and application forms and give you fantastic advice to improve your interview kills.

Communities for Health (C4H)
In April 2010 Bransholme Enterprises was awarded a contract by the NHS City Healthcare Partnership to provide healthy lifestyle referral services to the Bransholme area. The key areas were smoking, weight and alcohol issues. Since then dedicated community based events, taster sessions and activities have been held in the local communities in partnership with other local organisations like Weight Watchers etc. all aimed at improving the health and lives of the local people.
